Food still taste the same after all these years, still good and filling. The only problem I have is the people outside holding the door or begging for change. ( Just saying if I had that type of extra cash to be giving away I wouldn't be there )
This is the best China Cafeteria I been to. The food is always fresh, I just hate the homeless people that sit inside while I eat.
Ok, I know I may be in the minority, but I LOVE this place. This has always been a staple for me. Although I know I could go ANYWHERE and get a better experience, facility and food, for some reason, I am addicted to China Cafeteria. Specifically the Sesame Chicken Special with an egg roll, with sauce on the rice. The chicken is sweet with the perfect crisp. And they give you plenty of food for little money. The facility and location leave a lot to be desired. If you're squeamish, I wouldn't come here. Just don't do it. It's definitely hole-in-the-wall / hood-ish. But you're on Candler, what do you expect? Any who, China Cafeteria will always be a top contender for Lizette's Next Friday / Saturday Night Meal.
I went here last week for the first time and ordered my standard Mongolian Beef and General Tso's Chicken to get a feel for the place. The food was ok. It wasn't the best I've had but not the worst by far. Service was slow, but the food eventually came. All-in-all it was roughly a three-star experience, but as I was eating I got to see someone get shot so it's all good.
